The CEM DT-172 data logger software allows you to record and display the data from your instruments in real time or in a variety of time intervals. You can then easily plot and manipulate the values to follow them over time, and save the data in CSV, PDF, or HTML format after your recording session has ended. The software is compatible with Windows platforms only. The CEM DT-172 includes both USB and RS-232 ports to ensure it can connect to any data logger in the CEM product line, including the DT-171, DT-172, DT-173, and microLOG. The data logger software works with a variety of instruments including hygrometers/thermometers, voltmeters/ohmmeters, current transducers (CTs), and frequency counters/spectrum analyzers. It also communicates via serial communication with a wide range of devices such as graphical display systems, contact closures to initiate recording or alarm conditions, and MODBUS RTUs. Each data logger unit features a low power consumption design and self-contained electronics to ensure that there is no power loss during recording. In addition, it comes equipped with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery to eliminate the need for batteries as well as to provide as long as 4 years of operation from a single charge. The temperature range of the unit can also be programmed from -40° C up to 60° C. The CEM DT-172 data logger software supports a wide range of file formats including CSV, PDF, and HTML. You can also save the data as a comma delimited (.csv) file. This allows you to import your data into most spreadsheets and databases for further manipulation and analysis. The software also lets you view the data in histograms and line charts to show both trends and high and low values. You can then display and export the data in a variety of formats including PDF, JPEG, TIFF, GIF, BMP, PNG, HTML text, or XML.
